What is the Technology?
SuperFabric® technology by HDM Inc., is a finishing process that takes ordinary fabrics and transforms them into high performance fabrics collectively known as SuperFabric brand materials. These new protective fabrics can be engineered for optimum resistance to abrasions, lacerations, punctures, stains, and more, while remaining highly flexible.
SuperFabric® brand material simutaneously incorporates a variety of protective fabric functions no other fabric can simulate, including industry-leading cut, puncture, and needle resistance.

- Guard plate configurations allow industry leading puncture protection from nails, slivers, and wires
- Spacing between guard plates provides needed flexibility without sacrificing performance
- Due to inherent construction, conventional materials such as cotton, leather, aramids, and nylon are unable to stop sharp objects from penetrating through the material
Unique Needle Resistance
HexArmor® needlestick products utilise multiple layers of SuperFabric® in order to achieve incredibly high puncture resistance that is also uniquely flexible.
- Layered guard plates arrest, trap, and block needles and other hazards
- Products are tested using actual 25 gauge needles to deliver the highest levels of relevant protection
- Traditional woven products are easily penetrated by sharps and needles that push fibres aside with little resistance
Product Performance
HexArmor® products are cut and puncture resistant. NOT CUT AND PUNCTURE PROOF. Do not use with moving or serrated blades or tools. User shall be exclusively responsible to assess the suitability of the product as specified for any individual application or use.
